YSD London is a surface design company made up of a close knit team of family and friends.
We came about after Yukari, our head designer, finished her training at Eley Kishimoto and Paul Smith in 2008, and debuted under the name Yukari Sweeney Design at Paris Design Week 2012. We specialise in wallpapers, cushions and home accessories.
Our ethos is that anything with a surface can be designed on.
We have worked with Debenhams, WALPA, Anthropologie and Firefly House on a range of different projects including various items for the home, mid-century furniture upcycling and even a 14 colour paint collection exclusively in Japan. We love collaborating and are always looking for great new projects that we will enjoy!
Eco-friendly material and methods are always used when possible and all of our lovely manufacturers are based in the UK.

Our design studio is nestled in a quiet street in historic Greenwich, London. From here, we not only design our wallpapers and products, but also dispatch all your orders and sell one-off or unique items for the home, as well as take on bespoke projects.
In our quiet little studio, you can sit and talk with us about what you’d like to achieve for your next project, as well as peruse our wallpaper books and samples in person. And maybe even pick up a little gift for a special someone on the way…!
We are open Wednesday-Saturday, 11am-6pm. We also take custom appointments for clients suited to their needs- let us know ahead of time if you’d like to visit, and what day best suits you.
